Hello, I’m Steve and I set up Scape Landscaping with the ambition to create an independent landscaping company that prided itself on delivering high-quality build construction combined with great customer service. Seventeen years on I can confidently say I have done what I set out to achieve and more.
I’ve renovated over 300 + gardens, driveways and outdoor spaces in Exeter city alone and word around the surrounding towns and villages in Devon. My companies reputation for delivering great quality builds has led to continued repeat custom from many customers along with recommendations and referrals which drives my business.

How does the process work and how do I receive a quote?
Following your enquiry I will arrange for a site visit to discuss the project in further detail and access the site (including access). A free (no obligation) written quote will be provided with the job specifications and expected costs. Following approval I will book in the job and provide a start date.
Are you Covid compliant?
Since the pandemic we operate a lean business with Steve conducting most of the work himself. If you are working from home or self isolating we can still carry out site surveys and provide quotations without needing to speak to you face to face or entering your home. When the job starts we work safely outside while you stay safe and protected inside.
Do you need access to electricity & water?
We don’t always need access to electricity and water but this does depend on the project type and machinery involved. If there isn’t access to electricity or water on site we can often work around this with various remote power solutions but we will need to know before we quote and start on site to avoid any potential issues.
Why are material costs fluctuating ?
Since the pandemic we have seen great disruption to the building and landscaping industry. Materials prices are fluctuating due to supply issues with national and regional suppliers importing materials such as cement, timber and paving. We work with our customers to source materials at competitive prices from our trusted suppliers to try and navigate around the current supply issues.
How can I obtain a material sample to help me decide?
We work with you throughout the design process either to source a specific material that you would like or we can help you decide on the material types and finishes available. We have great relationships with our suppliers to either provide samples or arrange for you to visit a supplier to browse through available materials.
Can you provide references and case studies?
With over 15 years in the business we have a large portfolio of case studies with before and after visuals along with costs and of course customer reviews. If you’d like to view any of our design and build projects just let us know and we will arrange for an on site visit to see an recent project installation.
