Front garden designs are always a challenge as they don’t have any purpose or function unlike a back garden. i.e. somewhere to sit and relax, have BBQ’s or allow the family to play. They are purely about aesthetics, creating an entrance to your home or as estate agents call it ‘kerb appeal’.
The customer for this project requested a design with a low maintenance area with raised beds to plant and soften the overall look. The finalised design incorporated curves and circles as the theme to create interest and allow for a mixture of finishes. We used a few different materials such as paving slabs, granite setts, and walling stone. The end result was quite stunning and added ‘kerb appeal’.
